The ingredient list goes to our server to be read, and the answer comes back. The list is not saved and is not tied to you.

Your browser keeps the last result until the tab closes, so going back to it doesn't mean pasting again. That copy never leaves your device.

A saved product is its brand, its name and its ingredient list. Those three go into a shared catalog that helps the checker recognize products. The catalog holds nothing about who added them.

With an account, the product also sits on your own shelf, and removing it from the shelf removes your copy.

An account is an email address and a password. The password is stored scrambled, so nobody here can read it. A cookie keeps you signed in, and signing out clears it.

Joining the list shares your email, and your first name and a note if you add them. Elysiana reads them, as does the person who runs the site. They are used for one thing: getting in touch about working together.

Joining sends one confirmation email at most. There is no newsletter, and the list is never sold or passed on.

The site counts page views to see which pages are useful. The counting uses no cookies and does not follow you across other sites. There are no ads and no advertising trackers.

Your IP address is used for a moment to stop automated abuse of the checker and the forms. It is not written to our database.

The site relies on a few service providers to host it, store its data and deliver email. They handle data on our behalf, for those jobs only.

Anything of yours comes off on request: a place on the list, an account, a saved product. The way to ask is a message to Elysiana on Instagram.
